南方澳有著各式各樣的人，不論是本地人或是觀光客，他們共同組成了這個地方的面貌。Mu Ling 隨機的紀錄了她在南方澳遇到的 50 個人，將他們畫了出來。
每一張畫紙對 Mu Ling 來說都是獨一無二的機會，她在創作過程中追求一種理想的狀態，在蠟筆看似隨意遊走在紙張的自由中，她卻又對每一個筆觸和顏色以說不清的高標準自我批判，一絲猶豫或拘謹都會需要重來一次。
這是一個如同修行 般的自我練習，放下的每一張畫紙都不能造成下一次下筆的負擔，然後試著用這些最放鬆自在的線條，將她追求的感受和狀態感染給觀者。我們看到的是一種創 作的隨機性與完成作品的偶然，和一種努力放鬆而不留痕跡的成果。
